Day 1: Arrival and warm welcome, and Kampala City tour
Welcome to Uganda and your safari! It all begins here with an introduction to your guide and with a chance for you to ask any questions. Then it’s time to get out there and enjoy your safari. Because you chose Uganda, you have so much to look forward to. Enclosed by lush tropical jungle and lapped by the oceanic expanse of Lake Victoria, Entebbe is one of the prettiest and greenest towns you could hope to visit anywhere in Africa.
In the afternoon, after relaxation, you will set off for the Kabaka’s palace tour in Kampala. Visit the kingdom of Buganda, the largest kingdom in Uganda, and learn more about the traditions and history of this oldest and largest Kingdom.
You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Rhino tracking in Ziwa and proceed to Murchison Falls
Named after an explosive 43m-high waterfall created where the Nile erupts through a crack in the Rift Valley escarpment, Murchison Falls National Park is also one of East Africa’s most rewarding safari destinations.
Second only to elephants when it comes to bulk among African land mammals, white rhinos are intimidating creatures, as you’ll see for yourself when you track them in Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch. This admirable rhino breeding project is home to plenty of other wildlife too, but ganda’s only population of rhinos does tend to steal the show, and it is a real thrill to encounter these peaceful grass-cropping giants on foot.
You will proceed to Murchison Falls and explore the top of the falls. This is an experience like no other since you will hike at the top of the most powerful waterfalls in the world. You will check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Explore Murchison Falls on a Game drive and a Boat cruise to the falls
Watch wildlife and learn all about it on a guided game drive in Murchison Falls National Park this morning, led by our experienced guide. Boat Cruise to the bottom of the Falls., Murchison Falls National Park. Here you’ll find golden-maned lions stalking the plains, large herds of Rothschild’s giraffe striding through palm-studded grassland, and hippos basking in the river shallows while elephants and buffaloes come to drink.
In the afternoon, you will explore the park on a boat to the bottom of the falls. This will give you a different view of the waterfalls and a chance to explore the Murchison Falls. You will be able to see different wildlife on the shore of the Nile.
You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Scenic road trip to Kibale Forest and Bigodi wetland for Primates
Today, we take a road trip to the prime chimpanzee country of Kibale National Park. On the same day, you’ll go on a guided walk in the community-managed Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary bordering Kibale National Park. Here, you stand a good chance of spotting up to five monkey species. The forest birding is excellent, with a long list of colorful regulars, which includes great blue turaco, papyrus gonolek, yellow-spotted barbet, and blue-throated roller.
In the evening, you will retire at your Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Ultimate Chimpanzee Trekking and afternoon at Leisure
You will wake up for an early breakfast and embark on a trek through the forest in search of chimpanzees. The trekking exercise can take 2-6 hours, depending on where they are located. You will spend one full hour with them in the presence of a ranger guide who will answer all your questions regarding these primates.
After the exercise, you will return to your lodge for lunch and evening relaxation.

Day 6: Road transfer to Queen Elizabeth and evening game drive
Check out of your lodge and embark on a road trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park, the most visited national park in Uganda. You will check in at your lodge and relax as you get ready for the evening game drive.
You will love the warm light and cooler temperatures as we take you out to explore on your evening game drive. This time of day is when both predators and prey are most active, and it can feel as though anything could happen at any moment. This is when you’ll most enjoy being on safari.

Day 7: Morning game drive and explore the Kazinga Channel on a boat cruise
Set on the Rift Valley floor in view of the snow-capped Rwenzori peaks, Queen Elizabeth National Park offers plenty of variety to safari-goers. On the Kasenyi and Ishasha Plains, large herds of Uganda kob, the national antelope, stand on constant guard for the lions that feed on them.
Lakes Edward and George, together with the connecting Kazinga Channel, support around 5,000 hippos and an abundance of waterbirds, as well as being a magnet for thirsty elephant and buffalo herds.
You return to Queen Elizabeth National Park to further explore its rich biodiversity

Day 8: Game transfer to Bwindi, for Gorillas, and visit the Batwa community
You don’t need to stray far off the beaten path in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to understand how Uganda’s premier gorilla-tracking destination acquired its English name. The steep slopes and dense substrata of ferns and shrubs in this magnificent highland forest can make for challenging walking conditions. Fortunately, the park has a good network of footpaths allowing you to look for its diverse wildlife, not only mountain gorillas but also 10 other primates, six forest antelopes, 350 birds, and 200-plus butterfly species.
In the evening, you will visit the Batwa community, who were the traditional dwellers of Bwindi forests. They narrate their life experience with gorillas and how they survived with the gorillas in the forest.

Day 9: Gorilla Trekking experience and afternoon Leisure at your lodge
You get another chance to spend time in and around the magnificent Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. When you go mountain gorilla trekking, you’ll hike through the forest and then spend time in the presence of these remarkable and soulful family groups. The walking can be strenuous, but you’ll never forget your experience here.
After your experience, you will return to your lodge for lunch and afternoon relaxation from the long trek experience.

Day 10: Scenic road transfer to Entebbe and end of the trip
