Day 1: Warm Welcome and Explore Entebbe for Shoebill

The moment you have been waiting for has finally arrived. This is when your Ugandan safari begins. After a few brief formalities and an introduction to your guide, we will start this journey together and begin to discover all of the amazing animals Uganda has to offer.

There is no cluster of high-rise buildings, but rather a beautiful garden bordering Lake Victoria. You will transfer to Mabamba swamp for the Shoebill experience, where you will see this magic bird at close range.

You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Jinja and visit the source of the River Nile

You will head to Jinja for the second day of your safari. Jinja was Uganda’s second-largest city before the mid-1990s. The characterful town center has some fine examples of colonial-era Indian architecture, while the lush residential suburbs lead down to Lake Victoria at the source of the Nile.

On your arrival, you will check in at your lodge for lunch as you get ready for the afternoon boat trip to the source of the longest river in the world- The Nile. 

Enjoy your boat trip to the very point where the River Nile starts its journey to the Mediterranean Sea via Egypt.

Day 3: Whitewater rafting and afternoon transfer to Sipi Falls

Get ready for an adrenaline rush as we take you white-water rafting on the Nile River in the morning. We will make sure you have all the advice and equipment you will need for this fantastic experience.

In the afternoon, you will embark on a road trip to Sipi Falls. On your arrival, you will check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Hiking the Sipi Falls and afternoon Transfer to Moroto town

In the morning, you get ready to hike the Sipi Falls.Situated at an elevation of 1,775m on the western slopes of Mt Elgon, the 99m-high Sipi Falls is a notable beauty spot set in lush green countryside that offers grandstand views over the plains below.

After the hike, visit the local community and learn about coffee making, known as coffee from the tree to the cup.

Later in the afternoon, enjoy the scenic drive to Moroto, the land of the Karamajong warriors, for a cultural encounter.

Day 5: Cultural tour and afternoon transfer to Kidepo Valley

Our next stop is Moroto, a small and unassuming town that nonetheless serves as the largest urban outpost in the vast badlands of Karamoja. Explore the culture of the Karamajong by visiting the local communities. Learn about their culture and then transfer to Kidepo Valley for a wildlife adventure.
Check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Full Day Game Drive in Kidepo Valley National Park  

Enjoy a full day game drive in the wilderness. Tucked away in the remote northeast of Uganda, Kidepo Valley National Park protects a memorable landscape of grassy floodplains enclosed by rugged 9000ft peaks.

In addition to four of the Big Five (buffalo, elephant, lion, and leopard), the park harbors healthy populations of giraffe, zebra, and various antelope. Local specialties include cheetah, eland (the world’s largest antelope), patas monkey, and the lovely rose-ringed parakeet.

Day 7: Transfer to Murchison Falls and hike to the top of the falls

In the morning, you embark on the road trip to Murchison Falls, known for its powerful waterfalls. One of the few African safari destinations that can be explored by car, by boat, or on guided walks, the 3,480km² Murchison Falls National Park is dominated geographically by the Nile River and 43m-high waterfall after which it is named.

Enjoy your lunch en route and enter to the park. On arrival, proceed to the top of the falls for hiking and then return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Morning game drive and Afternoon Boat cruise to the bottom of the falls

Start your day with a guided game drive in the savanna side of the park. Here you can be confident of seeing elephant, buffalo, hippo, giraffe, waterbuck, hartebeest, oribi, Uganda kob, crocodile and a good range of aquatic birds. With a bit of luck, you might also encounter lion, leopard, patas monkey, and the bizarre stork-like shoebill.

In the afternoon, you will explore the park on a boat trip to the bottom of the falls, where you will see more wildlife species like Crocodiles and Hippos, among others. Return to your Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 9: Morning transfer to Kibale National Park

As you explore on your trip, get ready for a long but scenic drive to the Primate’s capital of the world. This is the forest known for the highest concentration of primates, with more than 12 primate species. 

You will have a stopover for lunch, and then on your arrival at the forest, you will check on at your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 10: Chimpanzee trekking, nature walk, and transfer to Queen Elizabeth

You will get ready early in the morning and transfer to the starting point where you will be briefed about the trekking exercise. Then embark in the trekking path until you reach where the Chimpanzees are. There is no specific time to spend on the exercise because it depends on where the chimps are located on that particular day.

When you find them, you will spend one full hour observing their behaviors and taking as many photos as you want. In the afternoon, you will explore the Bigodi wetland sanctuary on a nature walk, where you will be able to see different primate species.

After the experience, embark on a road trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is less than 2 hours away. On arrival, you will check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Morning guided game drive and Afternoon Boat cruise on Kazinga channel

Get ready for a guided game drive this morning in Queen Elizabeth national Park, known as the most diverse national park in Uganda. As Whenever Africa’s animals are involved, there is so much for you to look at forward to. The Park is probably the best place in Uganda to see lions. Its Lakes and other wetlands support plenty of elephants, buffalo, hippos, and waterbirds, while the snow-capped Rwenzori peaks provide a majestic backdrop.

You will explore all these and more wildlife species on both game drives in the morning and an exciting boat cruise on the Kazinga channel in the afternoon. Then return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Morning Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable via Ishasha Sector.

Get ready to embark on a road transfer to the home of Gorillas. You will

pass via Ishasha Sector for Tree-Climbing Lions. Buffalo, elephant, and Various antelopes are likely to be seen in the Ishasha sector of Queen

Elizabeth National Park, but the focal point of our visit will be the locations

favored by its legendary tree-climbing lions.

You will enjoy your hot lunch on your way to Bwindi and then on arrival, check in at your lodge for relaxation and dinner.

Day 13: Gorilla Trekking experience in Bwindi

There are a few more iconic wildlife experiences, but trekking in search of mountain gorillas is always an exceptional experience. These soulful creatures and the remarkable landscape they inhabit are worth every second that you walk through the forest to find them.

Spending time in the presence of mountain gorillas is a real privilege, so we’re sure you will enjoy trekking deep into the forest to find them. This is one of the most memorable experiences you can have while on safari. After the experience, you will have lunch and spend your evening at leisure.

Day 14: Golden Monkey Tracking and transfer to Bunyonyi

You will transfer in the morning to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, where gold meets silver. Golden monkey tracking takes us deep into the bamboo zone of the Virunga Mountains. It’s great fun to watch these handsome bamboo-eating monkeys as they forage and play, but at the same time sobering to realize they are now IUCN red-listed as Endangered, and all but confined to the Virungas.

After the experience, embark on a scenic drive to the second deepest lake in Africa, Lake Bunyonyi. This lake carries its name to mean the place of little birds, and thus, many bird species are in this place. On your arrival, you will take a small boat to your lodge for relaxation and overnight.
