This is not just a safari — it is a journey into the living soul of Uganda, where mist rises from ancient rainforests, lions rest in the branches of fig trees, and the distant drumming of waterfalls echoes through deep valleys. Welcome to Uganda, the land of Mountain Gorillas and great people.
Just know that from your first welcome at the shores of Lake Victoria to the final sunset over rolling hills, this adventure unfolds like a story.
A story of primates in the wild, vast savannahs alive with movement, and quiet lakes that seem to hold time still. Every day brings a new chapter, a deeper connection, and unforgettable encounters.
Day 1: Arrival and warm welcome, then transfer to your hotel.
You arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where warm air and friendly smiles mark the beginning of your African journey. Your guide and other company representatives welcome you and transfer you to the Sienna Beach Hotel, nestled along the calm shores of Lake Victoria.
Here, the journey slows for a moment — a chance to rest, breathe, and feel the anticipation of adventure ahead.
Day 2: Morning transfer into the rainforest of Kibale and Nature Walk
After breakfast, you journey westward into lush countryside toward Kibale National Park — a kingdom of primates and towering forest giants.
In the afternoon, you step into the enchanting Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. Birds call from every direction, monkeys swing through fig trees, and local guides share stories of life intertwined with nature.
You retire into the forest ambiance at Kibale Forest Lodge in the evening, where the night sounds of the jungle become your lullaby.
Day 3: Morning Chimpanzees Trekking & the Wild Plains of Queen Elizabeth
At dawn, you enter Kibale’s forest for an unforgettable chimpanzee trekking experience. This is an exciting moment watching them communicate, play, and move through the canopy just meters away.
Later, the journey continues toward Queen Elizabeth National Park, where open savannah replaces rainforest. Arrive at Pumba Safari Cottages as the sun melts into the horizon.
Day 4: Explore the Savannah Life on a game drive & The Kazinga Channel
Morning unfolds on a game drive across golden plains — elephants walking in herds, buffalo grazing, and lions resting under acacia trees.
In the afternoon, you drift along the famous Kazinga Channel, where hippos surface in slow rhythm, and crocodiles bask along the shores. Birds paint the sky in motion and colour.
Return to Pumba Safari Cottages for a peaceful evening under African stars.
Day 5: Transfer through Ishasha for Lions and Journey to Bwindi Forest
Your journey continues through the wild southern sector of the Ishasha Sector, where the rare tree-climbing lions rest in fig branches like guardians of the plains.
By afternoon, the landscape shifts into misty highlands as you arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park — a world of dense rainforest and ancient mystery. Overnight at Gorilla Bluff Lodge.
Day 6: The Great Gorilla Encounter (Gorilla Trekking) and Lake Bunyonyi
This is the emotional peak of your journey and the major highlight of the trip. Deep in Bwindi, you trek through thick jungle until you meet the gentle mountain gorillas — powerful yet peaceful, sharing quiet moments in their forest home.
After this life-changing encounter, you descend into serenity at Lake Bunyonyi — a place of misty islands and calm waters. Stay at Itambira Island Seeds of Hope as the world slows down.
Day 7: The Return Journey to Entebbe and departure
The final day begins with scenic drives through rolling hills and vibrant villages. A stop at the Equator offers a moment to stand between hemispheres — a perfect photo and memory.
